Course objectives
The overall objective of this course is to offer practical guidance for writing scientific journal articles to researchers, academics and postgraduate students.
Specific objectives are:
- Understand the fundamentals of writing scientific journal articles
- Explore preparation, planning, writing, submission and publication phases
- Provide practical guidance for writing different sections of scientific articles
- Provide guidance for navigating the article submission process
- Offer tips for dealing with reviewers’ comments and article revisions
